County and Township Real Estate bills
Traditionally these are BLUE bills. They are issued the first week of March.
Discount period is through the end of April.
Face period is through the end of June.
Penalty period is through the end of December.
School Real Estate bill
Traditionally these are WHITE bills. They are issued the first week of July.
Discount period is through the end of August.
Face period is through the end of October.
Penalty period is through the end of December.
Per Capita bill
This tax has been eliminated, beginning July, 2005.
Interim Bills are issued in February and August of each year. These bills are for improvements or additions to existing parcels and are pro-rated based on the Occupancy Permit issued by Loyalsock Township
As of January 1, 2005, Real Estate bills are issued based on 100% of the
market value of a property, according to the Lycoming County Assessment
office. Millage rates are set by each district, and multiplied by the
assessed value to reach the face amount of the tax.
Postmark Counts for all due dates.
To receive a receipt enclose a stamped self-addressed envelope.
Failure to receive a bill does not change any due dates.
