Pavilions at each park can be reserved up to one year in advance. A security deposit of $20.00 is required and will be returned by mail the Monday following the reservation. (Please pay the security deposit with a seperate check.) The security deposit will be returned only if the picnic area is left clean and unvandalized.  A maintenance crew member will determine the condition when he/she locks the restroom at the end of your event and will report the condition to the Director of Recreation and Parks. All facilities are equipped with full service restrooms.  All facilities have charcoal grills and electricity (except Heshbon Park).

 

 

Please fill out this form ONLY AFTER YOU HAVE RESERVED YOUR PAVILION WITH A TOWNSHIP EMPLOYEE. Once the form is filled out and signed please mail it along with your pavilion fee and separate security deposit ($20.00) to:

1.  NO PARKING ON GRASS, CARS MUST PARK IN PAVED PARKING LOTS.

3.  No alcoholic Beverages permitted on park property.

4.  No open fires except in grills used for cooking.

5. All trash must be placed in proper receptacles.

6.  No Smoking permitted under pavilions, at playground areas, or any other area posted with no smoking signs.

7.  Pets must be kept on a leash in park areas at all times, and their waste must be cleaned up and  disposed of in a sanitary manner.

8.  No staples permitted. All tape and/or thumb tacks used must be removed.

9.  Businesses or organizations requesting facility use must provide the Park's Department with a certificate of insurance with the Loyalsock Township Board of Supervisors named as certificate holder.

11. James Short Park gate is opened for loading and unloading only. There are two handicapped parking spaces available by the pavilions.
